The
purpose of the FBBF is to provide activities that
enhance the quality of
life through flyfishing by:
-
Promoting the development of friendships among flyfishers;
-
Facilitating the sharing of flyfishing information,
skills, equipment and adventures; -
Facilitating the education of all interested people about flyfishing,
including fly tying techniques, materials and designs, flycasting proficiency,
flyfishing equipment types and applications, knot tying,
locating productive fishing sites and any other subject of interest to flyfishers;
-
Teaching the value of natural resource protection; and
-
Promoting the conservation and restoration of the stocks of all species
of freshwater, estuarine, and saltwater fishes.
